Sisters in Crime
Probably the most fun group of mystery writers and readers going. National, local, internet, and special-interest-group activities. Don’t let the name fool you, membership is open to all of sisters-in-crime and brothers-in-law. There are also many sub-groups, such as Guppies for beginning writers. Membership in any sub-group requires membership in the national orgainzation.
Story Circle Network
A place for women with stories to tell. This is for women who keep journals, write memoirs, or just want to tell their life experiences. On-line story circles, quarterly story journal, conferences, workshops, suggested reading lists, weekly writing inspiration quotes, and much more.
Fiber Arts Traders
This is a member-only group, so you have to jump through the usual Yahoo hoops to join. Weekly trades of small art projects, help with techniques, a chance to post photos of your artwork, and lots of support from other artists.
