This chart goes with a blog I wrote about completing the third of five final book edits. For that blog, go here.
In writing a novel, I recommend a process of five edits. The Second Edit involves printing the entire book and reading it, marking things that need to be changed, corrected, or improved as you go. The Third Edit is an assessment of how the book looked when read as a whole, over a concentrated period of time; in other words, how it would look to a reader. This chart helps consolidate that assessment and determine what must absolutely be fixed before moving on to the Fourth Edit.
