This is a duffle parka I made, using a pattern from MacPhee's workshop. Over time, I corrected the original sleeve length, which I'd cut too short. The two cloth colors looked very bland, so I added some German 16th century black work embroidery. You can see a close up of the hood embroidery in Grey Coat 2. I used waste canvas and embroidered with DMC Pearl Cotton. The only problem with this coat is that it's so heavy, it has to be at least 20 below before I can wear it.
